Pogo Alert Plus - Features Reviewed Pogo Alert Plus GPS and Laser speed camera detector is the most sophisticated camera detector to own and use on UK roads. Pogo Alert Plus is the spiritual successor to the multi-award winning Pogo Alert and Origin b2. The Pogo Alert Plus takes the technological advances made in the Origin b2/Pogo Alert and yet again pushes the boundaries, adding a full colour 1.8-inch OLED touch screen, all new menu-driven operating system, clear voice alerts and plug-and-play portability. 
Pogo Alert Plus warns motorists of approaching speed cameras, accident blackspots, schools and congestion charge zones. In addition, alerts are provided for mobile laser traps via the supplied (removable) Pogo Alert Plus infra-red laser detector module. Pogo Alert Plus utilises the award-winning Origin360 speed camera database pre-loaded, which contains GPS co-ordinates of ALL fixed installation speed traps, including Gatso cameras, Truvelo cameras, DS2 (Speedmaster), Watchman cameras, Speedcurb cameras and SPECS average speed cameras.
Pogo Alert Plus includes Directional feature that provides warnings only for speed cameras positioned to catch drivers travelling in the direction of the user.
The Limitator feature provides full warnings only if the user is exceeding the prevailing speed limit.
Screen colour changes from to red when exceeding prevailing speed limit
(when in range of a speed trap/hazard). The Motorway feature sets the Pogo Alert Plus to sound warnings only for speed cameras which are sited on the motorway network.
Motorway warnings will start further away than normal warnings (factory
settings 700metres OR 20seconds on motorway mode).

Pogo
Alert also includes a highly sensitive infra-red laser detector to
provide the fullest protection against mobile based speed traps and
'safety camera vans' via the supplied removable laser detector module.
At each speed camera location the Pogo Alert Plus
displays the type of speed camera, vehicle speed, speed limit, road number and countdown (metres or seconds) to the speed trap. The Pogo Alert Plus can also display distance covered, journey time and average speed.
