The Snooper S2 neo GPS speed camera detector warns to Gatso cameras, Truvelo cameras, SPECS camera systems, digital cameras, accident blackspots, Watchman, Speedcurb, DS2  and high risk zones using the Snooper enigma database of speed cameras.

The Snooper S2 neo speed camera detector includes two new features, Auto-Ranging and Speed Sensitive visual alerts. The Auto-Ranging feature is used so that you no longer have to set the detection range as the S2 automatically calculates the distance required depending on the speed limit

At each speed camera location the Snooper S2 neo will alert from a range 200 to 500metres automatically using the Snooper S2 neo's auto ranging facility. When driving in a 20mph or 30mph the alert range will be from 200metres rising automatically to a warning range of 500metres when driving in a 70mph zone.

The Snooper S2 neo's 4 LED's warn of approaching speed cameras and indicate whether you are driving over the enforced speed limit. If you are driving below the posted speed limit only the blue LED's will illuminate, but if you are driving above the enforced speed limit the red LED's will illuminate, warning you need to slow down.

The Snooper S2 neo is mounted on the dashboard or windscreen and connects to the vehicles cigarette lighter socket. Easy to move between vehicles.

There's no mistaking the S2, with its spaceship illuminate in red or blue depending on whether you are over or under the limit. But the unit is showing its age, as there's no screen or display, and no voice for warnings or limits. It was a little slow to stop warning at times, and got a reversible trap wrong, too. The price was good (even more so with special offers), although we'd still pay a bit extra for more information.
