The Snooper brand might not be universally known, but this model see off many established rivals. Routes are easily changed, and its display is as good as we've seen. Pop-up schematics for roundabout are detailed yet clear. The unit stores up to 110 addresses in its directory, and viewing recent routs makes it easy to access your favourites. But there was some hit-and-miss in pinpointing destinations and it has no traffic-avoidance system.

We've always liked the Snooper's shiny black finish, and this Plus adds Bluetooth - although it doesn't download the address book. Speed trap performance was great. On-screen mapping, pictograms and spoken instructions were perfect, too. But the POIs were limited and there's no TMC.
