This Novus gives warnings specific to what you are driving - handy, as limits for large vans or vehicles towing are different to a car. The screen is small and digits could have been bigger, although it looked good in colour and showed actual speed. Spoken and visual warnings were clear and accurate - but as with the Novus GPS Rider, it was slow to catch up when we turned off before a trap. Price and updates were reasonable.

PogoAlert

RoadPilot MicroGo like the Novus Alpha is a purely GPS based speed camera detector. Relying simply on the internal updateable speed camera database to provide all alerts to the driver, the Novus Alpha also features a unique vehicle profile setting from car to HGV, which allows the user to select the vehicle type that they are driving and receive speed limits specific to their vehicle.
