The Origin b2 Solo plug and play GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) based speed camera detector uses the latest GPS satellite technology combined with unique and patented features. Combine to warn drivers of approaching speed cameras, mobile police laser traps, accident blackspots, schools and congestion charging cameras.

The Origin b2's Solo high resolution LCD with enhanced graphics - displays speed limit, countdown-proximity bar (metres and seconds), GPS speedometer and road number.

The Origin b2 Solo provides voice alerts detailing the type of speed camera followed by the prevailing speed limit. With warnings from 2000-200 metres prior to a cameras location. In addition the laser detector warns of mobile speed camera vans and handhelds from up to 2 miles making the Origin b2 Solo a comprehensive speed camera detector.

Origin b2 Solo Features Explained

Motorway driving mode: when selected the Origin b2 Solo will ignore camera locations which are located off the motorway network, typically located on surrounding 'A' roads. To help ensure that Motorway mode is deselected when leaving the motorway network, the Origin b2 Solo will sound an audio tone and motorway symbol on the LCD will flash, whenever your vehicle speed drops below 25mph.

The Origin b2 Solo also features a limiter feature only provides full alerts if the user is travelling over the prevailing speed limit.

Congestion Charging Zone - Produces a warning when approaching the boundary of a congestion charge zone. This feature can be selected to be time sensitive to operational hours. Optional warnings to both Primary and Secondary schools at certain times of the day and year are also available.

Origin b2 Solo Subscription

Updating your Origin b2 Solo with the latest GPS database and speed limits is free for the first 6 months, subject to a local call rate. Subscription is then charged at Ł50.00 a year. The database is easily and quickly updated via the Internet enabled PC or (optional) modem.

Origin b2 Solo Installation

The Origin b2 Solo has been designed for easy installation into any car by the user. The Origin b2 Solo cradle is mounted on the vehicle dash top or on the front of the dash, in the drivers line of sight.

The plug and play Origin b2 Solo cradle also easily fastens onto the vehicle dash top. Neither system requires drilling or damage to any surfaces and both take power from the cigarette lighter adaptor.

No wires are attached to either main head unit making them easy to remove for security.
