RoadPilot Pro Pro GPS speed camera detectoruses the latest 2nd generation GPS satellite technology to pinpoint accuracy thereby revolutionising road safety - alerting you of locations of 'fixed' and regularly used 'mobile' speed camera sites, accident blackspots, London's congestion charging cameras and schools.
RoadPilot Pro gives user selectable voice (e.g. "warning speed camera ~ speed limit 50! ~ slow down, slow down") or a series of beep tones depending upon the nature of the warning, giving you sufficient time to correct speed and ensure full concentration is on the road ahead. The screen also displays a progress bar so that at a glance you can see the distance to the camera/blackspot.

RoadPilot Pro Features Explained
RoadPilot Pro automatically adjusts the range of the proximity alert to suit the speed of your vehicle. For example Motorway driving you receive an earlier alert, whilst in built up areas you receive a slightly later alert. The RoadPilot Pro ensures that it provides adequate warning of a camera, and is user selectable.
The unique touch screen 'Mileage Manager' programme enables you to record and analyse your business, commuting and private mileage. If you have Microsoft MapPoint installed it will even provide you with a report on your PC of addresses with postcodes for the start and finish of every journey.
RoadPilot Pro produces a warning when approaching the boundary of the congestion charge zone and when in it. Warnings are not given outside hours or at weekends. Warnings of speed cameras and the speed limits associated with them take precedence over the congestion charge display on the screen.
RoadPilot Pro Subscription
The CD-ROM packaged with the RoadPilot Pro contains easy to use software which allows the RoadPilot Pro to be updated with the latest information. Updating RoadPilot Pro is via an Internet enabled PC is free for the first 6 months, subject to a local call rate. Subscription is £50.00 a year.
RoadPilot Pro Installation
RoadPilot Pro is delivered complete with all parts to enable quick and easy fitment. Simple secure it to the windscreen or dash using the special mounting stalk, in the best position to view the display.
Plug the lead into the car's cigarette lighter adaptor, position the antenna for best satellite reception and switch on. Additional car kits are available for using RoadPilot Pro in an second car.
