Gatso Speed Camera on Aylestone Road, Leicester (30mph)
This Gatso speed camera is located on Aylestone Road near Leicester in Leicestershire, monitoring southbound traffic with a 30mph speed limit.
As you exit the M1 at junction 21 (Leicester) and you follow signs for the city (via Narborough Road) you will come to a set traffic lights. If you turn right onto Braunstone Lane East, follow that for approx. 1 mile you will come to another set of traffic lights (on a hill), turn left that is Aylestone Road as you travel along Aylestone Road, there is a speed camera. I believe that it is just before you see the petrol station on the right (BP). Good Luck people because they even at one stage recently issued tickets to the local ambulance service (which is a direct route to the Leicester Royal Infirmary) this caused an uproar in the Leicester Mercury.
