"The A40 is having an Average Speed Camera System installed which is due to go live in September 2015. While the new system is installed, enforcement along the A40 is being carried out by Metropolitan Police officers."

"There will be information regarding the expected enforcement of the Average Speed System provided to motorists by the local Variable Message Signs in the weeks leading up to the system going live." More information can be found here.
