Speed Camera: Mobile Speed Camera
Nearest Town/Village: Middlesbrough (known locally as Ormesby Bank)
Road Name: Unconfirmed
Direction of enforcement: Both directions
Speed Limit: 20mph
Camera reference number: NETT031

Speed Camera Details: Mobile camera van is usually positioned on grass verge on right hand side facing traffic that is travelling out of Middlesbrough to Guisborough / Stokesley / Nunthorpe. Just before reaching top of bank look for squares outlined with tar on either side of the road, slow down to 30mph as camera is positioned just around a slight bend which is not easy to see until you in its view. Usually some fellow motorists travelling in the opposite direction may flash their head lights to let you know that it is there.

Most roads on the area are 30 mph but the section past the primary school is 20 mph - every so often a mobile speed camera van sets up and catches out unwary drivers - Beware and always slow down.
