Mobile Speed Camera on A59, Clitheroe (60mph)
This Mobile Speed Camera speed camera is located on A59 near Clitheroe in Lancashire, monitoring eastbound traffic with a 60mph speed limit.
There appear to be five cameras on a 12 mile stretch of the A59 which runs between Blackburn and Skipton. The two which got me within 45 minutes of each other are at the same location pointing in both directions. They are at a road junction known as the Clitheroe North Road. They are painted dark blue and stuck on top of dark blue poles discretely positioned away from the road side. The camera system that got me was called a LASTECH LTI 20/20 Speedscope.
