This SPECS speed camera is located on A90 near Perth in Perthshire, monitoring north and southbound traffic with a 60mph speed limit.
The A9 from Perth to Inverness both north and sout bound is now covered by a SPECS average camera check system. The fixed Gatso cameras have been removed along the entire length of the A9. Road speed is 60mph for single carriageway and 70mph for dual carriageway. Lorries have a temporary speed limit of 50mph for the foreseeable future along the road. These cameras are an interim safety measure until the entire A9 (all 273miles) is upgraded to a dual carriageway. Driving in the opposite direction the SPECS camera system then continues onto Dunblane.
