Speed Camera Details: This camera operates on A27, Eastern Way, Fareham, limit is 40mph. You only know what the signed limit is if you are already on the A27 travelling west to east. But if you are coming out of Gosport to join A27 beware! Because as you come off the roundabout and up the eastbound slip road by the public house, there is no sign showing what the speed limit is and one may assume that as it is two-lane dual-carriageway the national limit of 70mph applies. It does not! I know to my cost, in a brand new car, that they hide this camera out of sight and it will pick you up across four lanes, two slip-roads and a central reservation.
