Red Light camera is located just before the traffic lights at the junction with Princes Street / Union Road a short distance after and on the opposite side of the road from the Meridian TV Studios. It is aimed at the rear of cars going south towards the city. I have seen it flash when cars have run the light when heading for Southampton or Millbank Street. Shortly beyond this junction on Northam Road a bus lane starts which reduces the road width to one lane.
