Gloucestershire Badgeworth Lane Speed Camera Location

Speed Camera: Mobile Speed Camera
Nearest Town/Village: Shurdington
Road Name: Badgeworth Lane
Direction of enforcement: Both directions
Speed Limit: 30mph
Camera reference number: SWG042

Speed Camera Details: Mobile speed camera sited in the layby and round the corner, sneaky 30mph to a 50mph.

May 2021 Update: I got caught here a few weeks ago so had a closer look at the speed signs. As you turn in from the Shurdington Road heading towards Badgeworth the first 30mph sign is hidden in a huge hedge until the very last moment, another has a resident's bush growing around it and was obscured by lots of flowers on the day they caught me and two others are partially obscured by telegraph poles. If you compare the signage in nearby roads where signs are in plain view this stretch looks as if they have deliberately been sited in hidden places. I call that entrapment. I am writing to the Chief Constable to complain.
