Speed Camera Details: This fixed camera is on the east side of the road, facing south, south of the village of Pawlett and north of the hamlet of Walpole. This was a fairly straight stretch of road, with no distinctive buildings or landmarks spinging to mind. As far as we can remember there are fields on either side of the road, and low fencing. We were surprised at the speed limit being so low, although there were both speed limit signs and speed camera warning signs before the camera!
The Gatso speed camera is located between the two garages on a bend and between the two access roads to the village of Pawlett. There have been a number of road crashes on this bend and at the junctions to the village.
