Further to a previous comment it would appear that the red light camera, sighted on the corner of the A50 and Lena Drive near Groby, is also a speed camera as I was caught by it on 05/07/2015. This is a 40mph stretch and is not the same camera as that just before it which is in a 50mph section. I was not aware until now that these cameras could be used for both, this would seem to be a little sneaky.

After driving past the Gatso speed camera at location number camera reference number: EML004, which is in a 50mph zone on the A50 at Groby. The speed limit changes very shortly after that camera to 40mph. There is a camera on the traffic lights in the 40mph zone, it appears this is not just a red light camera but also a speed camera as I was caught by it last week! (information received 24th March 2015).
