Gatso Speed Camera on Long Lane, Hillingdon (30mph)
This Gatso speed camera is located on Long Lane near Hillingdon in Greater London, monitoring both directions traffic with a 30mph speed limit.
Two different speed cameras on this road. Coming from the A40 onto the A437 the first camera is several hundred metres past the second smaller set of traffic lights. Coming from the Uxbridge road end of Long Lane, the second camera is near the bottom of the downhill stretch of road. The speed limit is not immediately obvious and poorly signed. I have seen people drive through this camera at up to 40mph without setting it off. Both cameras will flash while driving toward them as well as away from them.
