Tyneside and Teesside Chain Bridge Road Speed Camera Location
Speed Camera:
Gatso
Nearest Town/Village: Blaydon
Road Name: Chain Bridge Road
Direction of enforcement: Westbound
Speed Limit: 50mph
Camera reference number: NETT010
Speed Camera Details: The speed camera is on a dual carriageway out in the open on the left hand side. There is also a small road sign in front of it so you cannot see it until you are right up on top of it. The Gatso speed camera is positioned where the dual carriageway (70mph) splits with white road markings into two single carriageways where you are not allowed to overtake. Could be thought to still be 70mph or even 60mph, but is in actual fact only 50mph. Confusing!
